Dariel Fernandez, Miami-Dade County Community Councilman 10, Honored to Be Appointed to TPO Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee by Commissioner Kevin Cabrera

Miami, FL - April, 21, 2023 - Dariel Fernandez, a prominent member of the community and Miami-Dade County Community Councilman 10, has been appointed to the TPO Bicycle Pedestrian Advisory Committee (BPAC) by Commissioner Kevin Cabrera. This is a significant achievement for Dariel, who has long been an advocate for pedestrian and bicycle safety in Miami.

The BPAC reviews transportation plans and projects for non-motorized mobility and safety, provides a forum for the discussion of issues affecting bicyclists and pedestrians, and reports to the TPO Governing Board on bicycle and pedestrian-related issues. The BPAC also assists the TPO staff in the development of comprehensive bicycle transportation plans (a component of the Long-Range Transportation Plan) and reviews plans and projects for bicycle and pedestrian mobility in the Transportation Improvement Program.
